Colombo politicians using Muslim group to evict Tamil families from their houses in Batticaloa...( 26-01-2012 )
Tamils in Batticaloa have been receiving threats from a group of Tamil-speaking Muslims to settle elsewhere leaving their houses in Urukaamam in Kiththul area in Earaavoor Chengkaladi DS division.
Local sources said this Muslim group being backed by politicians in Colombo is continuously threatening Tamil villagers of Upcountry origin to leave the Urukaamam-Kiththul area, located along Chengkaladi-Badulla highway (A-15).
