A vice principal of a girls college was killed in road accident at Mailambavalli in Baticaloa early this morning.
Sri Lankan police said Tageswari Nagaratnam (52), vice principal of Vincent Girls’ School, was traveling on a motorcycle with her son.
The accident occurred when the motorbike hit a lamppost, killing the teacher on the spot.
Her son has been admitted to hospital in critical condition.
