Sinhala students in a cadet camp at Randamba attacked fellow Tamil students from Jaffna a couple of days back.
Sources said visiting students from leading schools of Jaffna came under attack of Sinhala students, which was brought to the notice of Sinhala military officials in the camp.
But instead of taking any action against Sinhala students, the military officials drove away Tamil students, asking them not to reveal to anyone what Sinhala students have done to them.
On Tuesday, Sinhala students attacked Tamil students at one stage of altercation over a trifle matter.
Instantly Tamil teachers who were accompanying Tamil students brought the matter to the notice of the military officials but their complaint was fully ignored by the military officials.
Sinhala students again attacked Tamil students on Wednesday when the students of Jaffna Central College went to collect their food in the locality of their hostel.
Jaffna Central College students returned on Thursday and principals of the other schools are expecting safe return of students of their respective institutions.
