The imprisoned former commander of Sri Lanka Army, Sarath Fonseka, has said that if anyone wants to be a criminal, he should join the government that helps to be so.
Referring to killing of a youth by a ruling party politician, Fonseka said that the government of President Mahinda Rajapaksa has earned fame for criminal activities and for patronizing hardcore criminals.
“You should consider joining the government if you want to rape a woman, or kill someone, or smuggle narcotics, or want to commit other crimes,” said Sarath Fonseka.
