Eelam Nation provides an online up-to-date reliable reporting through experienced correspondents and journalists on Tamil affairs, particularly concerning the Eelam Tamils living in Eelam and all around the world. Our services include online publishing via World Wide Web and an electronic mailing list.

We commenced our service on November 27, 1999 to keep the International Community (IC) aware of the struggle carried out by Tamils in the Northeast against oppression by the Sri Lankan State. And our objective is to educate and create political awareness among the general public by providing accurate and authentic information.
